Payee Verification — Global, Real-Time, Self-Serve
Vopify gives finance teams and payment operations professionals direct access to real-time payee verification across seven global payment networks — with no enterprise contract, no integration project, and no sales call required.
What is Verification of Payee (VoP)?
Verification of Payee is a payment security mechanism that checks whether the name of the intended payee matches the name registered to their bank account before a payment is executed. It was made mandatory for all Payment Service Providers (PSPs) in the Eurozone on 9 October 2025 under the EU Instant Payments Regulation (IPR), Regulation (EU) 2024/886.
